Wonder Engineer Drone Safety and DGCA Compliance Policy

Drone Safety & Regulations

Comprehensive DGCA compliance, airspace guidelines, and safety-first aerial filming standards.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Compliant Operations

01. Pilot Certification & Equipment

All aerial drone cinematography conducted by Wonder Engineer is performed exclusively by trained, certified drone operators utilizing GPS-stabilized 4K aircraft equipped with propeller guards, fail-safe return-to-home mechanisms, and obstacle avoidance sensors.

02. Airspace & Red-Zone Restrictions

We operate strictly within permitted Indian civil airspace (Green and Yellow zones as designated by Digital Sky). Flights are strictly prohibited in designated Red Zones (such as active airport perimeters, military installations, or high-security government zones) unless official defense clearance is provided.

03. Crowd Safety & Flight Protocol

  • Drones are never flown directly over densely packed crowds or unshielded infant areas.
  • Flights maintain safe standoff distances of at least 5 to 10 meters from guests and structures.
  • Indoor mandapam flights are conducted only when venue ceiling heights (>25 feet) and air circulation permit safe flight.

04. Weather & Wind Limits

For public safety and equipment protection, the remote pilot maintains sole final authority to suspend drone operations during sustained winds exceeding 25 knots (approx. 45 km/h), heavy rain, dense coastal fog, or severe lightning activity.
