Booking & Cancellation Policy
Understand our date reservation exclusivity, weather contingencies, and rescheduling flexibility.
01. Date Reservation & Retainer
To guarantee our exclusive presence on your wedding or portrait date, we turn away all other prospective inquiries once your retainer deposit is received.
Because dates are strictly locked and reserved exclusively for you, the initial booking deposit is non-refundable.
02. Rescheduling & Date Changes
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to adjust your wedding or event schedule:
- Notice Provided > 45 Days: You may transfer 100% of your paid retainer to a new available date within 12 months at no extra rescheduling fee.
- Notice Provided < 30 Days: Rescheduling is subject to team availability on the new date. If we are already booked on your new date, the initial deposit is forfeited.
03. Weather Contingencies for Outdoor Sessions
For outdoor portrait, pre-wedding, and maternity sessions along ECR beaches or hill stations, we closely track rainfall forecasts.
04. Cancellation by Client
If the client decides to cancel an event altogether, written notice must be provided via email to hello@wonderengineer.com. The client shall not be liable for remaining milestone payments, but previous non-refundable deposits remain retained to cover date reservation costs and administrative time.
